apparently Aspergers syndrome is the new rage to give a character if you are a writer. Jerry in Boston Legal has it, the cardiac doctor in greys anatomy a few weeks ago had it, and it seems like lots of new books have a character with it as well. interesting how different mental syndromes come into the spotlight. seems like the last one was tourettes, and now Aspergers.
so, went and saw the new Twilight movie last night, and it sucked balls. Somehow reading cheesey dialog is one thing, but hearing bad acting as actors recite said cheesy dialog is another thing entirely. blech. the movie was super boring as well. this is what i think the producers were thinking at some points- hmm, lets fills some time and just have bella and edward make googly eyes at each other. effin ridiculous! at least i had a good time making up my own lines haha.
i'm excited that its almost turkey time! i thought that i would have to spend it all on my lonesome up here since i didnt know if i would be getting the friday after off of work, but i did, so im super happy about not only the time off of work, but spending it with family as well. hopefully one of my aunts will be hosting it at their places because last year rather sucked going out to cracker barrel for our thanksgiving meal since nobody had space for us all to cellbrate it as a family at someones place. plus, it doesnt really feel like a holiday spending it waiting 45 minutes in the lobby to be surrounded by other families at other tables. it was just palin weird. so hopefully i'll get to do some cooking this time around.
